Vibe coding in business

Vibe coding for business users, within a framework your IT department can approve. Your business experts build their own tools without knowing how to program, but by knowing how to specify, verify, and decide what goes into production, using Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or Mistral Vibe.

The day's program in 4 modules

Two modules in the morning, two in the afternoon, each with a concrete deliverable. We work on real-life cases from the participants, following Kolb's cycle: do, observe, understand, reapply.

1 Module

The fundamentals of vibe coding

  • How does a code agent work, and what distinguishes it from a conversational assistant?
  • Speak to him: specify rather than ask.
  • Which tool for which need: Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Mistral Vibe.
  • Live demonstration, then workshop: from an idea to a first tool.

You leave with: a first functional tool, built during the session.

2 Module

Building a business tool based on a real need

  • Choose a real need of the team and describe it precisely.
  • Prototype, iterate, correct, test.
  • Knowing how to verify what the agent produces: proofreading, borderline cases, test cases.

You leave with: a business application usable by the team, with the method to recreate it.

3 Module

Automate and connect

  • Scripts and small automations for repetitive tasks.
  • Connection to existing files and tools: Excel, SharePoint, API.
  • Stay within the limits authorized by the IT department.

You leave with: automation that takes over a real, repetitive task.

4 Module

Governing and scaling up

  • The builders charter: authorized data, sandbox, review, decision circuit (going into production or abandoning).
  • Security, costs and documentation of the tools created.
  • Measure the gain and decide what to do next.

You leave with: your documented tools, the team's builders charter and a measurement of the gain at J+30 and J+90.

What the participants build

Consolidate

A tool that merges and controls recurring Excel exports.

Display

A team dashboard based on your files.

Grab

A small form that replaces a fragile shared file.

Automate

A script that sorts, renames, or classifies documents.

A call to an authorized API and the formatting of the result.

Document

Clear instructions for a colleague to take over the tool.

A framework that your CIO can sign

Vibe coding without a framework produces shadow IT. We establish the rules with your CIO before the first session, and participants leave with a charter that ensures their sustainability.

An agnostic approach

Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot in agent mode or Mistral Vibe: we adapt to the recommendations of your IT department.

A defined sandbox

The tools are built in an environment and on data validated with the IT department, fictitious or anonymized by default.

No secrets entrusted to the agent

No password, no API key, no personal data: this rule is part of the program, just like review and testing.

Knowing how to check

The promise is not to never proofread: it's to know how to verify. Each participant learns to test and identify what needs to go through the IT department.

A decision-making process

Transition to production, personal use or abandonment: the builders charter sets out who decides, according to what criteria.

A measure of profit

Time saved, errors avoided, tools actually used: a check at J+30 and J+90 to decide whether to scale up.

FAQ

Do you need to know how to code to take the course?

No. The training is designed for business and operational profiles: analysts, management controllers, project managers, engineers, subject matter experts, and operations teams. No one learns to program: everyone learns to specify a requirement, have the tool built by a code agent, verify the output, and decide what can be deployed to production. Development teams have access to the Code Hackathon and the Code Studio.

What tools are used for the training?

Depending on which one your IT department authorizes: Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot in agent mode (useful if your organization already uses Microsoft and GitHub), or Mistral Vibe if sovereignty is a requirement. The teaching method is the same across all tools, which avoids dependence on a single vendor.

Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot: which one to choose?

It depends on your environment. Cursor offers a reassuring editor interface for beginners, Claude Code and Codex excel at delegating complete tasks, GitHub Copilot in agent mode integrates seamlessly with a Microsoft and GitHub environment, and Mistral Vibe meets sovereignty requirements. We help you decide during the scoping phase, and our comparison... Claude Code or Codex details the differences.

Is this shadow IT? What is the IT department doing?

This is precisely what the training avoids. The IT department is involved from the outset: authorized tools, usable data, sandbox environment, review guidelines. The fourth module produces a builders' charter that defines the decision-making process: a tool goes into production, remains personal, or is abandoned, according to criteria that your IT department can endorse.

Is our data safe?

By default, workshops are conducted using dummy or anonymized data, within the scope validated with your IT department. Participants learn never to share confidential information with the agent (passwords, API keys, personal data), to review each modification, and to test before accepting. Our Security and Data Kit details the checkpoints.

What do we take home with us at the end of the day?

With tools that work: an initial tool built during the session, a business application usable by the team, and automation that handles a real, repetitive task. And with what allows you to continue independently: the methodology for replication, your documented tools, the team's builder guidelines, and a measurement of the gains at 30 and 90 days.

How much does the vibe coding training cost?

Between €2,000 and €3,000 excluding VAT for a one-day workshop, for up to 12 participants, depending on the level of customization: preparation of real-world team cases, coordination with the IT department, and selection of tools. A written proposal will be provided within 24 business hours, with no obligation.

Is the training fundable?

Yes. It is eligible for OPCO and ESF+ funding and fits into your skills development plan. NextStart is a registered training provider (no. 11756140675): we provide the agreement and documents required by your funding body.
