The AI challenges of the sector, as we practice them

Engineering, programs, quality, supply chain, support functions: the potential of generative AI is immense in the aerospace industry, but its deployment is subject to significant constraints related to confidentiality, intellectual property, export control, and international organization. This is precisely the context in which we have been operating since 2024.

  • Lively sessions on tools validated by your organization, including in-house hosted AI assistants, with the internal expert of the tool co-facilitating the demonstrations.
  • Use cases built on industry realities: technical documentation and requirements, program analyses, multilingual summaries, review preparation, responses to calls for tenders.
  • Multi-site and multi-country deployments, conducted in French and English, in waves of short sessions, with a network of internal ambassadors to scale up.

What will change in 2026 for aeronautics and space

Regulations are becoming clearer, and tools are evolving from chat to agents. Our sessions incorporate these changes so your teams can adopt AI in the right framework, right now.

️AI Act, Article 4: Controlling AIHaving become an obligation of means with the omnibus regulation (EU) 2026/1744, controlled by national authorities since August 2, 2026: documenting your training actions remains useful.
🛡️Defense excluded, office automation includedAI systems used exclusively for military or defense purposes are outside the scope of the AI Act; civilian and office uses by your teams remain covered.
📦Export control: the rule remains unchangedExport controls, including the European regulation on dual-use goods, also apply to what is entered into an AI tool: hence the choice of self-hosted tools.
💬Transparency of content and assistantsSince August 2, 2026, Article 50 of the AI Act requires that a conversational assistant inform its interlocutors that they are interacting with an AI.
🧩Agents created without codeCopilot, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini allow your engineers to create their own assistants, connected to your repositories and technical documents.
🚀The delegation of complete worksCopilot Cowork and Claude Cowork They conduct a multi-stage process, with validation points: the review and the decision remain with you.

Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Mistral training for aeronautics and space

We provide training on the tools your teams actually use, within your specific environment and licenses: the group's internal AI assistant, Copilot Chat included in Microsoft 365 or the paid Copilot M365, ChatGPT Business or Enterprise, Claude Team or Enterprise, Gemini in Google Workspace, and Vibe from Mistral. At Airbus and CNES, demonstrations are conducted using the secure internal tool, with an internal expert co-facilitating the training. Our support materials are updated monthly by the software vendors.

Security, confidentiality and compliance

Intellectual property, technical data, export control: the aerospace industry handles information that never leaves the company's perimeter. Our training courses are conducted using tools validated by your organization, including proprietary AI assistants, with the internal expert for the tool co-leading the demonstrations.

  • Secure internal tools: all Airbus demonstrations carried out on the group's internal assistant, those of CNES on its internal LLM, never on a public account.
  • Export control and intellectual property: a simple classification rule and exercises on fictitious or public documents.
  • Usage guidelines: at CNES, each session begins with the agency's IAG charter; we rely on yours.
  • Article 4 of the AI Act: training materials and certificates that document your employees' AI proficiency.

Getting an entire business line to adopt AI, across multiple countries

Building a team and bringing on board several hundred engineers spread across France, Germany, Spain, and the UK presents a different challenge. At this scale, the difficulty is no longer pedagogical: different locations and languages, an internal tool to get adopted, and teams with very uneven levels of AI expertise. We deploy in short waves, with internal relays taking over.

Masterclasses to launchMasterclass · Up to 150 participants

At CNES, up to 150 participants per Masterclass, in Toulouse, Paris and French Guiana, in a program that has become a recurring event since 2024.

Waves of Prompt PartyPrompt Party® · 1 hour · in French or English

For an Airbus business line: two Masterclasses, eighteen Prompt Party and an AI Bar in two waves of three weeks, in person in Toulouse and remotely for Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Internal relaysCo-hosting · then AI ambassadors

An internal expert on the tool co-leads the demonstrations, then another internal co-facilitator takes over, as is the case at Airbus. To set up your group: free AI Ambassadors kit.

FAQ

Can you animate using our internal AI assistant?

Yes, this is standard practice in our industry: at Airbus as well as at CNES, demonstrations are conducted using the client's secure, internal tool, without any data leaving the information system. An internal expert on the tool co-leads the demonstrations, while NextStart provides the methodology, use cases, and facilitation.

Our data is subject to export control: how do you handle this?

The exercises are based on your real-life situations, never on your actual data. The practical cases are developed in advance with your subject matter expert using reconstructed or anonymized examples, validated by your security and compliance teams, and the rules of use are reviewed at the beginning of each session.

Our teams are spread across several countries: how do you manage that?

We deliver training in person, remotely, or in a hybrid format, in both French and English, including simultaneous sessions across multiple countries. For Airbus, the programs covered France, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom, in waves of short sessions.

We don't have an internal assistant: what tool do you use for training?

Regarding the one you have validated: Copilot Chat included in Microsoft 365 or Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT Business or Enterprise, Claude, Gemini, or Mistral. The exercises take place in your environment, with your security and classification rules.

Our teams are just starting out: is this suitable?

Yes. The sessions start from scratch and include even the most reluctant participants: everyone writes their first useful prompts based on their own work situations within the first hour. Advanced users then move on to creating agents and delegating entire tasks.

How much does AI training for the aeronautics or space industry cost?

€1,500 to €2,000 excluding VAT for a half-day session for up to twelve people, €2,000 to €3,000 excluding VAT for a full-day in-house session. Multi-phase, multi-country programs, with internal relays and adoption measures, are available upon request, with a sliding scale of prices depending on the volume.

How to finance the training?

The training is eligible for OPCO and ESF+ funding. NextStart is a registered training organization (no. 11756140675): the session is part of your skills development plan, with the agreements and documents expected by your funding body.

What happens after my request?

Flavien Besset will personally respond within 24 business hours with an initial proposal. A 30-minute scoping meeting will then allow us to clarify your teams, tools, and constraints before the detailed proposal and training agreement are finalized.
