Why train your supply chain and logistics teams in generative AI?
The supply chain can analyze faster and document better without losing what makes it valuable: knowledge of the field, anticipation and arbitration.
Data scattered across dozens of files
ERP extractions, stock reports, forecasts, transport tracking: the information exists, but consolidating and explaining it takes hours each week.
Emergencies that eat up analysis time
Disruptions, delays, follow-ups with suppliers, transport disputes: the daily routine leaves little room for anticipation and continuous improvement.
Plausible but false figures
An incorrectly calculated sum, an inaccurate forecast, or a misread column can invalidate an order. Each figure must be recalculated or verified against its source.
Sensitive data to protect
Purchase price, volumes, carrier conditions, customer names: authorized tools and clear rules are essential.
How we prepare the session with your supply chain manager
The content, examples and tools are prepared with your subject matter expert before the session.
Feasibility study
Gathering of needs, flows and indicators monitored, the most time-consuming situations, the level of participants and your constraints.
Customization
Adaptation of the process and exercises to your anonymized files, your procedures and your rituals (S&OP review, transport point), then validation with your organization.
Training
Participatory facilitation, guided practical application and distribution of educational materials.
The program, hour by hour
A balance designed to understand, practice and then secure the uses in your service.
Schedule for the half-day (3 hours 30 minutes)
- 0:00 to 0:20 Fundamentals of generative AI applied to the supply chain: what the tool can do on a data file or procedure, and what it should never do on its own: placing an order, engaging a supplier, allocating stock
- 0:20 to 0:40 : familiarization with the tool chosen by your IT department, structure of an analysis prompt, requirement to show the calculation or formula used
- 0:40 to 2:40 Workshops tailored to your specific situations, such as explaining discrepancies between forecasts and actual results, identifying overstocks and stockouts in an inventory report, comparing three carrier quotes, preparing an S&OP review, and writing a warehouse operating procedure, including the creation of prompts and a reusable assistant.
- 2:40 to 3:10 : presentation of outputs, cross-review, recalculation of key figures and verification of assumptions
- 3:10 to 3:30 : biases and limitations, sensitive data (prices, volumes, customers), GDPR, Article 4 of the AI Act and drafting your internal usage rules
The 1 hour 30 minute format follows the same tight structure: 20 minutes of fundamentals, 55 minutes of workshop on two chosen cases, 15 minutes of usage framework.

Your feed data and supplier conditions do not leave your environment
Purchase price, volumes, carrier conditions, customer names: the protection of sensitive data governs the entire system.
The exercises are based on your real-world situations, never on your sensitive data. We build the practical cases with your designated contact person using anonymized or reconstructed data extracts, and we work within the environment approved by your IT department: Copilot Chat, Copilot M365 (including Copilot in Excel), ChatGPT (Enterprise or Azure OpenAI), Gemini, Claude, Mistral, or a locally installed solution. No confidential data is transmitted to a public model during the session, and we do not connect to your ERP, WMS, or TMS. The final part of the training is dedicated to verifying the calculations, GDPR compliance, the AI Act, and developing your internal usage rules, ensuring that each participant leaves with a clear understanding of what they can and should never submit to an AI tool.

Answers to key questions about level, tools, personalization, and modalities.
AI supply chain training: which organization should we use to train our logistics teams?
NextStart.AI, a generative AI training organization based in Paris (registration number 11756140675), designs customized training sessions for supply chain, procurement, planning, transportation, and warehousing teams: a maximum of twelve participants, using your anonymized files and typical scenarios, with the tool validated by your IT department. 4,850 professionals trained since 2023, average satisfaction of 9.4/10.
Are our supplier prices, volumes, and customers still confidential?
Yes. The cases are built on anonymized or reconstructed extracts; no real sensitive data is transmitted to a public model. The session takes place on the tool approved by your IT department, in your environment.
Can generative AI make our demand forecasts?
No, that's not its role: your forecasts are still generated by your planning tools and your teams. Generative AI helps to leverage them: explaining a variance, describing a trend, preparing the S&OP review, and writing assumptions and decisions. The final trade-offs remain human.
How can we avoid incorrect calculations on our files?
The training teaches participants how to ask for the formula or calculation used, how to recalculate key figures, how to verify them on a sample, and how to be wary of fabricated values. This is a systematic exercise in the workshop.
Can warehouse teams be trained to work in shifts?
Yes. We organize short 1.5-hour sessions, repeated in waves at times adapted to the teams, on site or remotely, so that activity continues during training.
Do you need to already know how to use ChatGPT or Copilot?
No. The content is adapted to the level of the participants, from discovery to building a reusable assistant for analyzing your files.
Can you work with our ERP, WMS or TMS?
We do not connect to your systems: we work with anonymized Excel or CSV extracts, using the AI tool authorized by your IT department. If you have Copilot Premium, the workshop can take place directly in Excel.
What is the difference between the 1 hour 30 minute format and the half-day format?
The 15-hour format follows the same concise structure: 20 minutes of fundamentals, 55 minutes of workshop on two case studies chosen with you, and 15 minutes of practical application. The half-day format (3.5 hours) allows for the exploration of more situations, the creation of reusable prompts and assistants, and the presentation of work in a group setting.
Can the training be funded?
Our training courses are eligible for OPCO and ESF+ funding.
How much does the training cost?
Expect to pay €1,300 to €1,800 excluding VAT for a half-day session for up to twelve participants, with a discount for consecutive sessions; the 1.5-hour format is available upon request. We will send you a quote within 24 business hours; our price range is detailed on the page How much does AI training cost?.
Who is leading the session?
Flavien BessetThe speaker will be the founder of NextStart.AI, or a trainer from the team trained in the same methodology, depending on the language, city, and size of the wave. The speaker's name is included in the proposal, and they will prepare the session with your contact person.
What happens after my request?
You will receive a personal response within 24 business hours. A 30-minute exchange will clarify your teams, your tool, and your deadlines, after which you will receive the detailed proposal and training agreement.
