Gemini Pricing in 2026: Google AI Plus, Pro, Ultra, Workspace, and Gemini Enterprise
Guide published on October 31, 2026, compiled from the Google AI subscriptions page, Google Workspace and Google Cloud documentation, and price surveys conducted from France in October 2026. Google has changed its offers several times this year: the amount displayed at the time of payment is the correct amount.
Gemini costs from €0 to €219,99 per month for individuals, and is purchased differently for businesses: it's included in Google Workspace subscriptions, starting at €6,80 (excluding VAT) per user per month, and Gemini Enterprise, Google's agent platform, starts at $21 per seat. For consumers, Google AI Plus at €4,99 offers more features than the free version, Google AI Pro at €21,99 unlocks the Gemini 4 Argon model with 5TB of storage, and the two Ultra tiers, at €99,99 and €219,99, primarily focus on purchasing storage capacity. This guide details each price, what it includes, and how to choose between a personal, Workspace, and Gemini Enterprise subscription.

Google AI subscriptions for individuals are displayed inclusive of all taxes; Workspace prices are exclusive of taxes. Beware of the US price trap: the figure of €19,99 sometimes cited for Google AI Pro is the price in dollars, not the French price. Google AI subscriptions are processed through Google One: they always include storage, which can be shared with up to five other family members.
Gemini free: what you get without paying
Gemini is free to use on the web, on Android, on iPhone, and in Chrome with a Google account. The free version includes chat, file and image analysis, web search, and discovery access to Gemini Notebook. Since June 2026, limits are no longer based on requests per day; they depend on the complexity of the requests and the length of the conversations, reset every five hours, and are capped at a weekly limit. The most powerful models, Gemini 4 Argon and Gemini 3.1 Pro, are reserved for subscribers.
As with any consumer tool, a personal Gemini account doesn't offer the same security as a professional account. Conversations may be reviewed to improve Google services unless you disable this feature in your settings. For use with work documents, use your organization's Google Workspace account.
Google AI Plus: €4,99 for more features
Google lowered the price of AI Plus in June 2026: from €7,99 to €4,99 per month, with storage doubled to 400 GB. A €9,99 per month option increases storage to 2 TB. AI Plus provides:
- Approximately twice the limits of the free version on Gemini, with Gemini 3.6 Flash.
- Deep Researchwhich explores dozens of sources and produces a report.
- Extended access to Gemini Notebook, the new name for NotebookLM since July 2026, for working on your own documents.
- Video generation with Omni Flash, in limited volume.
- Proofreading in Gmail.
AI Plus does not include Gemini 4 Argon or Gemini in Docs and Sheets. It's a good option for regular personal use, but rarely the right choice for work.
Google AI Pro: the price and what it includes
Google AI Pro costs €21,99 per month in France and $19,99 in the United States. This is the plan formerly known as Gemini Advanced, and the one chosen by most freelancers and professionals who pay for Gemini themselves. It adds to AI Plus:
- Gemini 4 Argon, Google's main model, as well as Gemini 3.1 Pro and 3 Pro, with approximately four times the usage of the free version.
- A context window of one million tokensuseful for analyzing long documents.
- Gemini in Gmail, Docs, and Sheets for a personal Google account.
- Flow, the video creation tool, with 1,000 credits per month.
- 5 TB of storage shared between Drive, Gmail and Photos.
- For developers : 200 Colab computing units and $10 of Google Cloud credits per month, and expanded access to Google AI Studio and Antigravity.
Google AI Pro is a personal subscription. It's suitable for a freelancer, not a team: it doesn't provide an administration console or any commitment to company data. For employees, Google Workspace fulfills that role.

Ultra doesn't offer a different model from Pro for conversation: it buys volume, the highest caps on Flow and Gemini Notebook, and access to Project Genie and YouTube Premium in eligible countries. As of February 2026, the single Ultra plan still cost €274,99 per month in France; the move to two tiers has made it more affordable. It's justified for a video creator or developer who uses Gemini for hours every day. For desktop use, AI Pro is sufficient.
Gemini in business: included in Google Workspace
In a corporate setting, the question of Gemini's price is different: since the beginning of 2025, Google no longer sells it as a separate module and has integrated it into its Workspace subscriptions, raising the price accordingly. An organization using Workspace therefore already pays for Gemini, in a version that depends on the edition.

The Business editions are limited to 300 users; beyond that, Google sells the Enterprise editions on a quote basis. Data processed by Gemini in Workspace benefits from Google's commitments to protecting business data: it is not used to train models and is not reviewed by humans. For large users, Google announced in February 2026 an AI Expanded Access module that raises the limits; its price is not publicly available and is negotiated with Google or a reseller.
The challenge, therefore, is not to buy Gemini, but to ensure that your teams use it: many organizations using Workspace have been paying for Gemini since 2025 without their employees changing their habits. Gemini Enterprise: the agent platform, starting at $21
Gemini Enterprise, launched on October 9, 2025, replacing Google Agentspace, is not Gemini within Workspace. It's a separate platform, sold by Google Cloud, that gives each employee a single point of entry to search across all company tools, Google or otherwise, and to use or create agents. It comes in several editions:

In addition to these seats, there is a pay-as-you-go charge for certain agent usage, which should be factored into the budget. Google displays the starting price in the visitor's currency; annual and volume pricing is handled by the sales team or a reseller.
The price of the Gemini API
The Gemini API is priced per million tokens, with an entry fee and an exit fee per model. As of October 2026, Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite, the cheapest model open to new projects, costs $0,25 for entry and $1,50 for exit; Gemini 4 Argon costs $2 and $10, respectively, at an introductory price valid until November 30, 2026. Batch processing halves the price, and context caching reduces the cost of repeated entries. As with OpenAI, a Google AI subscription does not provide API credits, except for the monthly Google Cloud credits included in the Pro and Ultra plans.

Before purchasing Gemini Enterprise, check what your Workspace edition already includes: for writing, summarizing, and meetings, it covers the essentials. Gemini Enterprise becomes truly useful when you want to search tools outside of Google (Microsoft 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow) or deploy agents organization-wide.
