Managers and transformation through AI
Catalyst Managers – 2 half-days
We support your managers so they can become catalysts for AI transformation and engage their teams in the change. The process begins with practical application: two hours to measure, using their own use cases, how AI is changing their daily work.
€2,000 to €3,000 excluding VAT for two half-days, up to 12 participants · Written proposal within 24 working hours, without obligation.
Making managers the catalysts of AI transformation
You can't lead a change you don't believe in. The program therefore begins with a two-hour practical workshop: each manager practices the best AI use cases for their daily work and sees for themselves what it brings to their role. This is followed by a focus on the methodology and communication specific to leading AI change, field experimentation, and guiding adoption within their team. The program helps managers navigate uncertainty while also embracing it themselves, detect subtle signs of disengagement, and reinvest the time freed up by AI into their managerial role.
- Convince yourself through practice: leave with AI use cases immediately applicable to your daily life as a manager.
- Prepare, support and sustain the deployment of AI in your team with a structured but flexible approach.
- Strengthening managerial self-efficacy in the face of AI and giving control over the collective by reducing anticipatory stress.
- Clarifying what is entrusted to AI and what remains irreplaceable human added value.
🗓️ FIRST HALF DAY
Practice, structure and mobilize
Practical workshop: the power of AI in your role as a manager (2 hours)
Objectives:
- To convince oneself through practice of what AI concretely brings to the daily life of a manager.
- Leave with mastered use cases, directly reusable the very next day.
Content :
- The best AI use cases for managers: preparing an interview or feedback, summarizing a flow of information, writing team communication, preparing and using a meeting, analyzing a problem, structuring a decision.
- The right prompt reflexes: context, role, expected format, iteration, verification.
- What AI does well, what it does badly, and what we don't entrust to it.
Collaborative workshop:
- Each manager practices on their own work situations, in pairs, with the company's AI tool (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Mistral…).
- Personal mapping: "How much time can AI free up for me? What will I reinvest it in?" to identify the gap between individual gain and collective benefit.
- Collective selection of the three use cases to be shared as a priority within the team.
AI Change Management Methodology
Objectives:
- Adopting a structured but flexible approach to deploying AI in your team (preparing, supporting, sustaining).
- Make manager commitment the sine qua non condition for AI adoption, not a secondary variable.
Content :
- Key phases of an AI deployment: usage diagnosis → planning → implementation → adoption monitoring.
- Mapping AI adoption stakeholders: early adopters, skeptics, indifferent, silent withdrawal.
- Analysis matrix of specific resistances to AI (fear of replacement, loss of control, cognitive load), with a column dedicated to silent withdrawal, to be distinguished from active resistance.
- Framework for preparing employees for the arrival of AI in their tasks.
- Tool for measuring managerial commitment to AI adoption (inspired by Gallup methodology): simple, actionable, non-bureaucratic.
- Concrete levers: protect collective experimentation time in the agenda, organize peer support, clarify what is entrusted and what is not entrusted to AI.
Session deliverable:
Mini AI deployment plan for his team, including a managerial engagement indicator.
Narrative communication of AI change & mobilization
Objectives:
- Design messages that reduce uncertainty about AI, increase engagement, and provide meaning.
- Addressing the cognitive needs of teams facing AI: fostering a sense of effectiveness, reducing anticipatory stress, and giving collective control.
Content :
- Storytelling of AI change: why now? What impact for each individual? What remains unchanged?
- Narrative structure adapted to the AI paradox: recognize individual gain, name the collective challenge, position the manager as a facilitator, not as a controller.
- Meeting and participatory workshop techniques around AI: live demonstration, sharing of use cases, human-centered facilitation.
Practical exercise:
Simulation of an AI launch meeting in his team, with a scenario including worried employees and a manager who is himself not very convinced by his own AI adoption (realistic situation, based on the 16% of managers actually engaged in Europe).
📌 PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION BETWEEN THE TWO SESSIONS: 2 WEEKS
Learn immediately through action
- Implementing concrete AI change actions within your team (sharing use cases, workshops, targeted messaging, structured feedback).
- Document explicitly: "How much time has AI freed up for me this week? How have I reinvested it in my managerial role?" to make the virtuous circle visible or identify the obstacles.
- Measure a simple indicator (engagement, adoption, satisfaction) via a short form.
- Observe and note any silent withdrawal signals within your team, and the response provided.
Goal :
Immediate practical experience, learning by doing, and progressive building of a sense of managerial self-efficacy in the face of AI.
🗓️ SECOND HALF DAY
Go further, share and take action
Advanced practical workshop: AI in the service of change management (2 hours)
Objectives:
- Moving from individual use cases to advanced uses that equip managers to lead AI change within their teams.
- Gain autonomy: reusable structured prompts, personalized projects, simple first agents.
Content :
- Advanced techniques: structured and reusable prompts, step chaining, role and persona, personalized instructions and projects, working on one's own documents.
- Advanced use cases for managers in change management: analyzing team feedback and sentiment, preparing for a difficult interview, adapting communication to each profile, building a simple adoption dashboard focused on human behaviors, identifying points of friction upstream.
- Fundamental distinction: what is entrusted to AI (reporting, synthesis, analysis) vs. what is not entrusted to it (listening, trust, human arbitration), to give managers clarity on their irreplaceable added value.
Collaborative workshop:
- Each manager builds their own kit: three advanced, ready-to-use prompts to drive AI change in their team.
- Case study: preparing a follow-up conversation with AI, to free up cognitive time and be more present, not less.
Peer feedback
Objectives:
- Sharing what worked and the obstacles encountered in deploying AI.
- Structuring feedback to enrich action plans.
- To collectively bring to light the patterns of silent withdrawal, asymmetric stress and individual gain not reinvested, and to name them in order to overcome them.
method:
- Sharing circle with structured feedback.
- Systematic opening question: "What have you not dared to do, or what have you put off, and why?" to name the silent withdrawal and break the vicious cycle.
- Questions of collective improvement.
Development of a personalized action plan (3 months)
Objectives:
- Formalize a structured and realistic AI deployment plan for your team.
- Explicitly integrate the organizational conditions of engagement: what the organization must provide, not just what the manager must do.
Content :
- Milestones over 90 days.
- Behavioral, adoption and business KPIs.
- Specific KPI: Perceived managerial engagement rate (monthly self-assessment on the simplified Gallup model).
- Section “Conditions to negotiate with my management”: protected time for experimentation, peer-learning budget, clarification of AI priorities, to empower the organization, not just the manager.
- Resources needed.
- Risks and mitigation levers, with silent withdrawal as a priority focus.
Deliverable:
Ready-to-execute 90-day action plan, including a page titled "What I ask of my organization to succeed".
Practical information
- Public: managers tasked with engaging their teams in the AI transformation.
- Format: two half-days separated by two weeks of practical application, each opening with a 2-hour practical workshop (discovery, then advanced).
- Approach : AI practice on its own use cases, contributions, collaborative workshops, field experimentation and peer feedback.
- Deliverables: AI use cases mastered, advanced prompt kit to drive change, mini AI deployment plan and 90-day action plan ready for execution.
- Funding: training eligible for OPCO and ESF+ funding.
The process empowers both the manager and the organization by highlighting the conditions necessary for the success of the change.
